Clarence Thomas - An American Hero
I attended the Clarence Thomas luncheon today in Dallas. I admit I knew very little of the Supreme Court Justice before today, but it was comforting to learn that we have a moral, God-fearing individual serving us. I am looking forward to reading his auto-biography, My Grandfather’s Son: A Memoir.
An interesting quote from a DMN columnist:
If Clarence Thomas were a liberal, he’d be widely regarded as an American hero.

What an incredible opportunity to hear a sitting Supreme Court Justice, live and in person, speaking on his role in the Court as well as the path by which he reached that position. The only shame of it was that the local media outlets failed to make this opportunity known to their constituents - what is more, failed to even mention that a sitting Justice would be in town!
